I am a creative person and so have chosen fashion as my carrier. I want to gain knowledge about fashion industry and the way a fashion organisation works.
In WLCI, I have gone through many interesting workshops, many visits to mills and industries which has helped me in learning about how work is done on a large scale, it shows us the practical work which is different from our books and theories we usually study. I have gone through a very friendly environment with the faculties who are always there for any type of help. I have attended and worked for many fashion shows such as Wills India Fashion Week as volunteer or designer trainee.
WLCI provides training and internships which is a great benefit for students. It has helped me in interacting with designers and knowing about how work is done in a many designer houses and export units. It also helped in making my own contacts which will always help me in my upcoming future projects in industry.
I am planning to launch my own traditional or ethnic line in near future and market my garments commercially which people love to wear and appreciate my talent &creativity.
